Five Master Edits
Our Contrast Shot shows how different people can be during school. I am in class doing my work while Abbie is leaving class to go to the vending machines instead of doing her work in class.
The second shot was Parallelism, this shot was similar in ways but has some differences which makes it a parallelism edit. This shot shows me and Abbie walking but we are wearing different clothes and shoes so it’s different.
The next shot was Symbolism. We used a business card and then transitioned from the business card to the actual building of the business.
The next shot is Simultaneity and for this shot we recorded how empty the store was compared to the restaurant that is next to the store. A lot of people come to the Esplanade but it’s mainly for the restaurants and people barely come into the store.
The last shot is Leitmotiff and this shot represents what is happening but then shows what’s actually going inside of my head while I’m “doing my work”. Although I’m doing my work and it looks like I’m focused and know what I’m doing, all I can think about is going to sleep.
