Rise

This opening scene starts off with close shots of a car and soccer equipment so this gives us an idea of where most of the scene is going to take place. While the guy is practicing and making tricks they added music which added more quality.

Offline

For this opening scene video quality could've been improved by using proper lighting and still giving it that dark room effect. Most of the scene also just goes back and forth between different clips and therefore different transitions should have been incorporated.

Dear Lover

This was the first opening scene where a main character was recalling past events and reminiscing. The opening scene also starts of with different shots of nature. At the end when she said "Lets start from the beginning" it makes people want to know the whole story. Another thing is that the girl narrating the story she could've been more enthusiastic.

Dare To Thrill

This opening scene was exciting because of the fact that it was edited good and the music that was playing. I feel like camera angles played a huge role and also how steady the camera was. This was one of the best videos quality wise out of all of them so far.

Always Watching

For this opening scene acting could've been improved due to the fact that it just makes the whole scene cheesy. The quality and lighting also contributed to the scene being awkward. The only part that i enjoyed was the flashbacks because it helps you put things together.

The Blue Boar

In the beginning the shots of the lady in nature was interesting to watch because you wanted to figure out what it was about. The only thing that i would fix if my was the creator would be to have a more stabilized camera due to the fact that the clips were very shaky. Lighting in the video was good overall but i would've fixed some of it to give the scenes a different vibe.

White Coat

One thing that i liked about this opening film is that he opening title fits in with the rest of the opening scene and isn't just another dark or light title screen. The close up shots of the people in the scene and objects also make the viewer want to see more just because of the fact that they don't entirely know whats going on. This opening scene is one of the best ones that has been created so far.

Stalker

This opening film could've been improved with quality of filming and also acting. If the main character took the acting more serious and put emotions into the acting this could have improved the overall opening scene. Its also just another typical story line and doesn't really get the viewer engaged.

Nostalgia

This concept of what they put together overall is not bad but quality and more work could have been put into it when editing. The different scenes are just slapped together and it doesn't really give the opening film an effect.

Lost & Found

The introduction in this opening film is different it starts off by what looks like the art of Nicholas. The overall film is very artsy and the theme is followed throughout the whole film which I enjoyed. One factor that could've been improved is lighting.

As I viewed the other opening scenes that other AICE Media students have created in the past I have noticed that a major factor that could be improved is the lighting. The lighting throughout most of these videos make them seem low quality. Another thing that would make these opening films better is consistency due to the fact that they show one theme but don't really follow it throughout the whole film.
